KIWI now as a part of Solarwinds !

In a case of SOC or somewhere similar in usage with SOC , you need a Syslog server.

If you are a addicted of Linux/Unix OS , can use built in syslog or syslog-ng server for your job , otherwise , may be looking for windows based syslog , and will be so happy to find that it also could be used for free !

You can even use a VMWare-based appliance. I have created a VM that you can simply download and install in any VMWare tool. It has (almost ) everything you need, including a nice web frontend. It runs on top of a standard Debian, so modification is simple. It is called SyslogAppliance
